Who is this group for?
- Independently mobile
- People without cognitive impairment
- Those who have mild cognitive impairment that can follow instructions
- People who would like to learn Tai Chi
What happens in the group?
Your group class will be led by one of our trained therapy assistants. In the group you would participate in:
- Warm up
- Core Tai Chi moves targeted for arthritis and other conditions
- Meditation
- Cool down/stretching
When are classes ?
- Wednesday 1.30 pm -2.30 pm.

Other information
- Requires initial assessment with a physiotherapist
- Group leader is a trained allied health assistant
- All clients have an annual review with the physiotherapist (or more frequently at the request of the client or the group leader)
- Clients regularly meet for coffee before or after group
- You can progress to the Tai Chi class once you feel confident if you choose
