Day Respite

Alwyndor offers a Day Respite service to give carers a break to recharge their batteries while their loved ones are cared for in a safe and secure environment.

Alwyndor has a Day Respite program, designed to give you and/or your carer a change of scenery and the opportunity to meet new people and try new activities.

The Day Respite service is available 9.30am -4pm on Monday to Friday.

We offer a range of activities including:

  • Exercise classes
  • Gardening
  • Bowling
  • Walks
  • Massage
  • Bingo
  • Dancing
  • Crafts

Day respite is $182 per day + $15 for lunch ($182 is claimable under Home Care Package funding).
Subsidies now available for Culturally Linguistic and Diverse Clients (CALD)

Culturally Linguistic and Diverse clients living in Adelaide's southern suburbs region can now receive government-funded subsidies for Day Respite services. Please speak to our friendly Customer Care team to find out if you are eligible.
