Alwyndor has received national recognition in the 2026 Ageing Australia You are ACE! Awards, with two teams celebrated for their contribution to resident care and wellbeing.
The Pressure Injury Care Project Team won the Innovation Award in the Team category for its work to strengthen pressure injury prevention and care through collaboration, evidence-based practice and a shared commitment to achieving better outcomes for residents.
Alwyndor’s Residential Allied Health Team was also named a national finalist in the Teamwork category, acknowledging its expertise, collaborative approach and commitment to resident wellbeing.
Celebrating excellence across aged care, retirement living and seniors housing, the awards received more than 470 nominations from around Australia.
The results were announced on Aged Care Employee Day, making the occasion particularly meaningful for the Alwyndor community. Ageing Australia CEO Tom Symondson joined the celebrations, meeting employees and residents, touring Alwyndor and formally presenting the Innovation Award and finalist recognition to the two teams.
While these honours celebrate two particular areas of our organisation, they also reflect the care, expertise and commitment demonstrated across Alwyndor every day.
