Alandale was named in honour of Alfred Alan, Dorothy's younger brother. Alandale provides 27 exceptionally appointed accomodation with all either having vistas across the gardens and streets surrounding Alwyndor, or external courtyard views.

18 rooms have been specially designed to cater for those with a diagnosis of cognitive impairment and offer a safe, secure and happy environment. Those that reside in this area are provided plenty of cognitive stimulation with an array of sensory and tactile activities as well as group and one on one time.
