We offer a variety of group wellness programs. Group programs are led by therapists or trained allied health assistants.
All groups are available to people over the age of 65, or for those living with a chronic medical condition or disability. Before joining a group program all clients are required to attend an assessment with either the physiotherapist or occupational therapist, at which time the individual’s needs, goals and abilities will be considered. All groups and services aim to enhance your wellbeing through different approaches including exercise, activities, and social interaction.
Clients participating in a group program will be reviewed either on completion of the group (for short-term programs) or at a minimum every 12 months for ongoing groups (more frequently at the request of the client, allied health assistant or therapist).
We offer a free trial to different groups after an assessment, where possible, for people to come and try before attending regularly. You can book up to three groups per week, allowing the opportunity to target the areas you need to work on and meet new people.
